What we collect

When you complete our expression of interest form, we collect:

• Email address
• Property type, location, and purpose
• Approximate purchase price and renovation budget (JPY)
• Loan amount and term sought
• Timeline and any additional comments you provide
• Your response to the rate acknowledgement question

Why we collect it

Solely to assess demand for our lending services and to follow up with you about Japan Property Finance's products and timeline. We do not use your data for any other purpose.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your explicit consent, given when you tick the consent checkbox on our form. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at the address below.

How long we keep it

We retain your data for up to 2 years from the date of collection, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first.

Third-party processors

Form submissions are relayed via Formsubmit.co (US-based), which forwards your data to our inbox and does not store it permanently. No Data Processing Agreement is currently in place with Formsubmit.co. We intend to migrate to a EU/UK-compliant processor before commencing lending operations.

Your rights

Under GDPR and equivalent regulations, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

No data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party, except as required by law or as described under Third-party processors above.
